The Sound Room is currently hiring full time sales personnel. The Sound Room is a privately owned and operated specialty AV retailer offering some of the finest consumer electronics and accessories available. Founded in 1983, The Sound Rom is located in Chesterfield, Missouri.

The right candidate for this position will be a top-tier sales professional with the track record to support it. The Sound Room’s ideal associate is able to drive their own and the store’s business to success through their personal sales, the ability and willingness to leverage community connections and networking skills to build client base. They should be able to create excitement through exceptional customer service and provide the ideal shopping experience for each client, making The Sound Room experience the absolute best!

Responsibilities Include:

Driving the store business by surpassing personal sales goals.
Ensure that all customers receive flawless customer service.
Developing and maintaining The Sound Room customer base, making certain to build and maintain clientele.
Assisting with set up of the store visual displays and helping with store upkeep.
Work the hours necessary to guarantee the success of the business.


2 to 5 years of previous sales experience, preferably in a commissioned environment.
Prior AV systems experience would be a plus.
Strong ability to drive sales.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Must be an effective oral and written communicator.
