We are blown away by the tremendous turn out at our Grand Opening Celebration on February 23rd! A big thank you to 400+ people who came out to join us, it was wonderful to see our showroom filled with so many friends, customers, vendors and new faces. In case you weren’t able to stop by, here’s a recap of our Grand Opening Celebration.

We started the Grand Opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce and Chesterfield Mayor, Bob Nation. We were lucky enough to have one of our staff members and great photographer, Justin Barr, get some fun shots of the store and ribbon cutting from his drone.

We had the pleasure of Mark Reardon and KMOX broadcasting their show live from The Sound Room. It was a fun opportunity for us to have Mark and the crew at the store. We had fun talking through the new showroom features and some of our favorite products.

The Grand Opening was scheduled to begin at 4pm, but we had people showing up starting at 2pm for a tour of the store and to talk to vendors.

Speaking of vendors, we had a great turnout of reps on hand to discuss new products, offer special sales and talk to our customers. Those vendors included Anthem, AudioQuest, Autco-Luxul, Bowers & Wilkins, Bose, Classe, Control 4, Crestron, Epson, Goldenear, Hikvision, Integra, JL Audio, Lutron, McIntosh, Paradigm, Rotel, Salamander, Sanus, Screen Innocations, Seura, Sonance, Sonos, Sony, Stewart, Totem and URC and more.

The time has come, months of hard work, planning and construction, we are ready for our Grand Opening Celebration! Come out and join us for free food, drinks and weekend-long specials on February 23, 2017. After 33 years in business, we have grown and were ready to expand. The move to our new location in Chesterfield Valley has been an adventure, and we are excited to share our progress and show off our new showroom.

Come to our Grand Opening to see our new technologically advanced showroom, built to our exact specifications. One of our favorite features of the new store and showroom is the massive amount of space we have! We are now able to host events and are planning to host events monthly, ranging from custom home builder events, to movie premiers to charity events.

We’re extremely excited about our new store location and can’t wait for our Grand Opening in February to show it off, so we decided to have a private soft opening  event for our The Sound Room customers! Join us November 16th-20th for specials, promotions, an exclusive first look at new products and vendor presentations.

November 17th is Paradigm and Integra Day. A Paradigm representative and an Integra representative will be on hand to discuss their new and exciting products and can answer any questions you might have. Paradigm will be demonstrating the Prestige line of speakers and Integra will be demonstrating their new line of electronics.

November 18th is JL Audio Day. A JL Audio representative will be on hand to talk about the importance of subwoofers and the complete line of JL Audio subwoofers. Save on all JL Audio subwoofers during our soft opening event. That’s a savings of $160 to $2,400.

November 18th-19th AudioQuest Demos. Our AudioQuest rep will be in the store demonstrating the importance of wire and cable to the performance of any system. Special discounts for any AudioQuest products purchased during the event.

November 19th is GoldenEar Day. Our GoldenEar rep will be in the store demonstrating the most popular GoldenEar products and helping you to choose the perfect gifts for the holidays.

Yes, the rumors are true… The Sound Room is moving! We are closing our doors at 1661 Clarkson Road at the end of September, and moving to a new, and larger, showroom in the Chesterfield Valley on October 1st.  Located at 17373 Chesterfield Airport Road, next to Amini’s, the new 10,000 square foot showroom will feature a sample home that demonstrates the latest audiovisual technology and trends.  The new space is 2,500 square feet larger than our current store, meaning we can better serve you and showcase the latest and greatest tech.

Not only is this move great news for The Sound Room, but it’s a wonderful opportunity for you to pick up performance gear without paying performance prices.

All sales will have a full manufacturer’s warranty and will be supported by our new, larger Chesterfield location going forward.
