The Sound Room Makes CE Pro’s Top 100 List for Ninth Year in a Row

The company ranks No. 30 among the nation’s home technology retailers

July 2014: CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – The Sound Room, St. Louis’ premier home technology retailer, announced its ninth year on the CE Pro Top 100 list, which ranks the nation’s top custom integrators. The company was named No. 30, jumping up two spots from last year.

 

CE Pro, a leading electronics trade publication, ranked custom home and audio integrators based upon their 2013 revenue. In that time, The Sound Room generated more than $5.9 million in revenue, despite the continued slow growth within the industry.

MAKING LIFE EASY FOR MOM WITH THE SOUND ROOM

HOW TO WATCH BASEBALL WITH THE SOUND ROOM

The 2014 Major League Baseball season is now in full swing, which means it’s time to sit back and enjoy watching America’s pastime. If you’re planning on enjoying the Cardinal’s game from the comfort of your own home, we can help you find the best viewing options.

1. Major League Baseball has their fans in mind with an awesome At Bat app for Apple iOS. The app was updated in the offseason and now includes improved features such as inline video, league-wide scoreboard, and expanded instant replay. The free app comes with the basics, but with a paid subscription you have access to every out-of-market regular season game. $2.99 for a monthly plan or a one-time annual fee of $19.99 for the entire 2014 season all the way through the World Series.

2. Not at home or don’t have access to cable? No problem! You can watch the game through your desktop, gaming counsel, streaming device and more through MLB.TV. Users can choose from several different screen options and the video quality and playback is excellent. The MLB.TV subscription service is available for $109 a year for a standard, web-only access plan, or $129 a year for the premium version. The premium plan allows you to stream the games and watch on many different devices.

3. Are you a cable customer? Certain cable and satellite providers are offering MLB Extra Innings and including MLB.TV with the package for less than $200 a year. With MLB Extra Innings, you’ll have access to almost 100 out-of-market games a week, most of them available in HD. Can’t decide what game to watch? You can preview up to 8 games at once!

4. With WatchESPN, you can watch any game broadcasted on ESPN or ESPN recaps anytime, anywhere! The WatchESPN app is free and with your cable or satellite subscription, you should have full access to your favorite ESPN shows and live events.
